The OurSeniors.net Brunch and Learn Events are a great way to get out and socialize, to meet new friends and to learn while doing it. These Brunch and Learn Events have become one of the most important tools we have for networking with the 55+ and senior audience we serve.
The next two events will concern a serous problem, visual impairment, that troubles many seniors. If you or a loved one suffers from visual impairment, Kathy Searle Acevedo of the Florida Bureau of Braille and Talking Book Library may be able to offer valuable help. This is also a wonderful volunteer opportunity! Volunteering is a wonderful way to enrich senior life (see our blog, “Are You Lonesome Tonight?”). This very worthy cause may be just the thing.
The first of our June Brunch & Learn Events will be in Ormond Beach at D.B. Pickles Deli and Restaurant. Here are the program details:
