If You Have Hearing Loss, Help is Here

Hearing is a common issue for seniors, especially when trying to communicate over the phone.
ClearCaptions is a service that provides captions of conversations the same way closed captioning works on TV programs. The service is provided through the FCC and funded through Title IV of the Americans with Disabilities Act, which makes it accessible to seniors with hearing loss for free. To qualify, a healthcare professional such as an audiologist must provide a certification of hearing loss. Seniors who qualify will now be able to talk to their loved ones or call service providers to talk one-on-one without the assistance of another person for every phone call.
