Gift and recipe ideas for Mother’s Day

Are you stuck on a Mother’s Day gift for the mother figures in your family?
It’s always difficult to know the best thing to give, especially when everything is easy to buy from Amazon these days.
A few ways to personalize an otherwise ordinary gift are:
Make a personalized basket
Sure, a basket full of wine and goodies is always fun to give, but how about personalizing it a bit with things you know she’ll love? If she’s an avid gardener, add in a few new tools she can use. If she enjoys painting, giving her new paintbrushes or paint could be very thoughtful.
Create a small photo album
Have a bunch of photo memories with her? Put it together in a small, handheld album. You can print out the photos at a local store or use a photo book maker online. This is always a special gift and one that is easy to move around instead of a large book that gathers dust.
Bring cocktail recipe ingredients
If she enjoys a good mint julip or Moscow mule, create a gift of high-quality ingredients for her next cocktail. Instead of just bringing the liquor, the ingredients shows you are thoughtful and paying attention to her needs.
