As a practicing attorney, she has been recognized by her peers and honored by election to offices, including the president’s position, in both the Volusia County Bar Association and the Volusia-Flagler Association for Women Lawyers.

Outside the legal profession, she has been a member of the Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, a winner of the 2013 Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce Leadership Award and is a former Chairperson of the PACE Center for Girls.
