Mr. Dickinson has over 27 years of experience in the practice of public accounting. He has extensive knowledge in the fields of individual and corporate taxation, financial reporting, and accounting information systems. His diverse background includes conducting audits of financial statements, providing litigation support services, facilitating mergers and acquisitions, determining business valuations, providing general business consulting, and verifying tax compliance.
Seeing the need for quality accounting services in Central Florida, Mr. Dickinson started a full service CPA firm in 2001. The firm has enjoyed significant growth since inception and currently serves a wide range of clients in diverse industries including construction, distribution, medical services, insurance, litigation, manufacturing, technology, and transportation. The firm also provides accounting services to private individuals and to non-profit organizations.
Mr. Dickinson is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American and the Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants. He is also very active in his community, including being a youth basketball coach, treasurer of the Athens Theater, and a board member of the DeLand Century Club.
Formerly, he served as the chairman of the DeLand Family YMCA Board of Directors, as the finance committee chairman of the DeLand First Presbyterian Church, as treasurer of the Neighborhood Center a, 501(c)(3) organization and as a director of Hugh Ash Manor, a 501 (c)(3) organization.
Mr. Dickinson is a cum laude graduate of Geneva College with a B.S. degree in business administration and accounting. He currently resides in DeLand, Florida with his wife of 25 years. His hobbies include running, playing in local basketball leagues, golf, gardening, and photography.
