FindingAssistedLiving.com adds Mr. Richard Harmon and Ms. Laurie Taylor to the Senior Transition Pro Team

FAL Senior Transition Pro Team

Finding Assisted Living (FAL) intends to make this year’s Fourth of July an “Independence Day for America’s Seniors” and for their loved ones too. Dedicated to making the transition to senior life as easy, natural and safe as possible, FAL is assembling a team of professionals, each with specialized skills and knowledge. The FAL Senior Transition Pro Team is a network of professionals providing full, transparent, accurate and trustworthy information to help people find the senior transition option that is right for themselves and their loved ones.

Transitioning into a senior lifestyle is not simple, and very few people are qualified or prepared to make all of these changes on their own. The range of choices, options and decisions can seem overwhelming. Is it time to consider an assisted living facility or is remaining ‘home instead’ still the better option? Is a nursing home or skilled nursing facility necessary, or would one of the growing number of senior apartments be ideal?  What about the legal issues such as wills, living wills, trusts and estate matters? What are the medical conditions involved and how will this affect the other decisions?

The FAL Senior Transition Pro Team consists of experts in every phase of this process.  Each of them is qualified to give specialized, professional and unbiased advice to those making this transition and to the loved ones involved.  Today, Finding Assisted Living introduces two of its Senior Transition Pro Team members who specialize in the key areas of financial and retirement planning. Everyone knows that they should be planning for retirement, but studies show that few people do so adequately. Sometimes, there are personal situations, such as divorce, that complicate planning and require very distinct, narrow knowledge.

richard_harmanPlease meet Mr. Richard Harman, a financial planning professional who can help you or your loved one make a happy and successful transition into senior living.  Mr. Harman holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation, meaning that he has the knowledge and work experience needed to assist others in implementing sound investment and retirement planning programs. He also holds the NSSA® (National Social Security Advisors) certification. This credential assures that he has the state-of-the-art, up-to-date knowledge needed to optimize Social Security filings and to coordinate this important benefit with other retirement income sources.

Mr. Harman has worked in the financial industry since 2007, and as a Financial Advisor and Registered Principal, he has the knowledge and professional credentials required to assist his clients in making sound retirement and life transition decisions.  As a member of the FAL Senior Transition Pro Team, he is ready to play his part in making senior life transition a happy and successful process.

laurie_taylorSecondly, please meet Ms. Laurie Taylor, CDFA™ and Financial Analyst. Ms. Taylor has worked in the financial industry for over ten years and holds several securities licenses and the Florida Life, Health, and Variable Annuity License. In addition, she is recognized by the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst.  The IDFA is the premier national organization dedicated to assisting financial professionals to function in the divorce field.

Unfortunately, the term ‘gray divorce’ has entered our vocabulary in recent years as the frequency of separations among older couples has grown. This was once a rare occurrence but it is now a complicating factor in many senior life transition plans.  Ms. Taylor’s financial skills and special knowledge in this area make her distinctively qualified to assist seniors who are divorced or in the process of divorcing. She can work with clients and their attorneys to optimize the short- and long-term effects of proposed settlements and to avoid the tax mistakes and unseen hazards in the divorce process. As a member of the FAL Senior Transition Pro Team, Laurie can employ her general and special knowledge and skills to make senior life transition a positive, successful experience.

Finding Assisted Living looks forward to introducing new Pro Team members in the near future. Professionals with expert knowledge in diverse fields such as law, medicine, accounting and tax practice, and financial planning, they will always give factual, accurate and unbiased answers to your senior life transition questions.  The Senior Transition Pro Team wants to declare “Independence Day for America’s Seniors.” Please meet them here soon.
