FAL ProTeam brings on board quality Professionals

As our nation’s 240th Independence Day approaches, the FindingAssistedLiving’s FAL Senior Transition Pro Team continues to strive to create an Independence Day for America’s seniors, for their families and for their loved ones. The FAL Senior Transition Pro Team is dedicated to making every person’s transition to a senior lifestyle the right one for them. FindingAssistedLiving is putting together a winning team, a network of professionals who can make available information that is complete, accurate, unbiased and trustworthy. This information will enable people to choose the senior transition option that is best for them and their loved ones.

Very few of us are prepared or qualified to face the challenges of senior transition alone. The questions, the options, choices and decisions are simply too varied and too important. Decisions made now will have an enormous impact on the future happiness and health of the person (or persons) involved.
Is it better to remain “home instead” for the time being or is it time for an assisted living facility? Senior apartments and 55+ communities can provide independent living, but at some point a retirement home, nursing home or skilled nursing facility may be necessary. Have wills, trusts, living wills and other legal matters been properly completed? What do trusted medical professionals have to say and how does that affect other decisions?

The FAL Senior Transition Pro Team is a network, a group of independent experts in every aspect of this process. Every Pro Team member is distinctively qualified to give personalized, professional, unbiased advice to seniors and to their families. As a person moves from mid-life to senior living, this guidance is critical to their future well-being. One of the most important facets of a successful senior transition is proper attention to legal and tax issues.

The FAL Senior Transition Pro Team is pleased to welcome Mr. Robert Abraham, who has practiced law in the Daytona Beach-East Central Florida area since 1965. Robert came to Florida after graduating from the Yale University Law School and established his private law practice in Daytona.

His superior legal skills have been recognized by his fellow attorneys and clients alike. He holds the coveted AV Preeminent Peer Review rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest peer review rating available. Martindale-Hubbell peer reviews are based on confidential opinions submitted by lawyers and judiciary members who have professional knowledge of practicing attorneys. Robert is active in community affairs, serving as Chair of the Daytona Beach Downtown Development Authority.

A major part of Mr. Abraham’s law expertise relates directly to Senior Life Transition issues. His expertise includes real estate transactions, the preparation of wills, living wills, durable powers of attorney, trusts and other documents relating to life transition, asset protection and estate planning. He stands ready to assist in all senior life transition matters.

A big part of a successful senior life transition is proper tax and estate planning. The Senior Transition Pro Team is honored to welcome Mr. Andrew Grant, Tax Certified Attorney. Three years after graduating from law school, Mr. Grant moved to Florida where he attended the University of Florida’s prestigious Master of Laws in Taxation program. The tax LL.M. is held in high regard; tax law is dynamic, always changing and can be extremely complicated.

In 2007, he became Board Certified in Tax Law by the Florida Bar Association. Board certification is an important credential that recognizes an attorney’s special knowledge, skills, and proficiency in a distinct area of law. As people transition into a successful senior life style, they often need specialized advice on tax matters that can affect themselves and their estates. Mr. Grant is a member of the Senior Transition Pro Team who can fill that need.

Andrew has practiced law in the Daytona-Ormond-Palm Coast area for the past 12 years and is an active member of his community. Currently, serves on the Board and is a Founding Member of Business League Network. The Senior Transition Pro Team and his community are fortunate to have him.
Professionals with expert knowledge in diverse fields such as law, medicine, financial planning and accounting and tax practice, the FAL Senior Transition Pro Team is ready and qualified to give factual, accurate and unbiased answers to your senior life transition questions. The FAL Senior Transition Pro Team wants to declare “Independence Day for America’s Seniors.”
